About Us

We're a multiple-award-winning, independent entertainment company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have been producing commercial animation and independent animated productions for television and direct-to-video since 2003.

In 2004, New Machine developed and co-produced the award-winning short film, How Raven Stole the Sun, an original interpretation of the classic aboriginal folk tale. The show became an international phenomenon, winning dozens of awards and featuring in film festivals, museums and schools worldwide. It spawned 2 seasons of the television series Raven Tales, which airs across Canada on APTN and will premiere on the Smithsonian Network in the US in June 2010.

In 2007, we began development of The Wizard's Christmas, the first of a slate of 3 independently produced CGI-Animated feature films. We excited to announce that the show is now in production and will be released across Canada in December of 2010.
